Key takeaways
- Every offer is reviewed by our team before it goes live. Advertising runs only through custom integrations agreed with our team, so the review is part of setting up each offer.
- Every publisher application is reviewed by hand, once. After approval, every app the publisher adds is live right away; apps are not reviewed one by one.
- Review does not stop at launch: our team can pause or remove an offer, revoke offer access, pause an app, or ban an account that breaks the rules.
How does Moonetix review offers and apps?
Moonetix reviews at two gates. Every offer is reviewed by our team before it goes live, and every publisher is reviewed by hand once, through the publisher application. After a publisher is approved, every app they add goes live right away, without a review of its own, but every offer and every app stays subject to the rules and can be paused later.
This page follows both processes step by step. For the products and offer types that are never approved, read What Moonetix does not advertise; that list is not repeated here.
The review process at a glance
| What | Reviewed when | By whom | What can happen later |
|---|---|---|---|
| Offer | Before it goes live | Our team | Paused, removed, or changes required |
| Publisher application | Once, before any app | A person on our team | Account banned for fraud or rule breaks |
| App | Not reviewed one by one | Covered by the publisher review | Paused by our team; rewards held for review |
| Offer access per publisher | Ongoing | Our team | Offer marked Needs approval or Revoked |
How offers are reviewed
There are no self-serve advertiser accounts on Moonetix. Advertising runs through custom integrations by arrangement, so the review is part of setting up each offer with our team. Together with the advertiser we agree on the offer, the payout per conversion, the target countries and how conversions are tracked, then connect the advertiser’s server-to-server postback. Advertisers pay only for conversions their postback confirms, never for impressions or clicks. Before the offer goes live, our team checks it against the advertiser section of our Terms of Service. How advertising on Moonetix works covers the setup from the advertiser’s side.
What the reviewer checks
- Legal and honest. The offer and the promoted product comply with the Terms and the law in the targeted countries. The FTC’s truth in advertising principle is the baseline: an ad must be truthful and not misleading.
- Not prohibited. The product is not on the prohibited list: no malware, illegal goods or services, adult content, weapons, deceptive financial schemes, or offers that ask users to send money, crypto or gift cards or hand over credentials.
- Gambling only when licensed. Gambling offers come only from operators licensed in every territory they target, are lawful there, target legal-age users, and are reviewed case by case, with proof of license if requested. Major ad platforms work the same way; Google Ads’ gambling and games policy requires a valid local license for every region targeted (checked on November 4, 2026).
- Clear to the user. What the user has to do is clear, and so is what counts as a conversion. Offers can have several steps (goals), each with its own payout, and each step must be described.
- Working link. The offer link works, opens a page rather than a file download, and leads where the offer says.
- No data grabs. The offer does not ask for credentials, keys or sensitive data it does not need, and does not break the rules of the platform it sends users to.
- Disclosed relationships. Referral or affiliate links are disclosed. The FTC’s Endorsement Guides FAQ says such material connections should be disclosed clearly and conspicuously.
- Tracking that confirms. The tracking passes the click ID through, so the advertiser’s postback can confirm each conversion.
The Terms allow us to decline an offer or require changes to creatives, descriptions, landing pages or targeting. If something needs to change, we say what while we set up the offer, and it goes live only once it is approved. Advertise on offerwalls explains what makes an offer work well on a rewarded wall.
Review after an offer goes live
Approval is not the last check. Our team may pause or remove a live offer that breaches the Terms, the law or a partner requirement, for example because its landing page changed. If an advertiser wants to change a live offer, such as its landing page or what counts as a conversion, they tell us first so the change can be reviewed. Advertisers may reverse a conversion that later turns out to be invalid within the period agreed for their integration, and that reversal reaches the publisher’s server as a signed postback.
How publishers are reviewed
Our team reviews each publisher once, by hand, not each app. Until the application is approved, Apps, Offers and the reports stay locked, while the dashboard, referrals, promo assets and Account page already work.
- Apply. Sign up at moonetix.com/register with a username, email address and password, or with Google or Discord. Open Apply as publisher at the top of the dashboard sidebar and tell us how our team can reach you (Telegram, Discord or Microsoft Teams), your website or app URL, your monthly active users, and about your website or app.
- Review. A person on our team looks for a real property with real users who log in, honest traffic, fair reward rules, a privacy notice that covers the wall, no adult, illegal or infringing content, an audience aged 16 or older, and a placement that follows the Terms. Most applications are decided within one or two business days.
- Decision. You get an email and a dashboard notification. If the application is not approved, the Apply as publisher page shows the reason.
- Add apps. Once approved, add each website, game or app as an app. When you click Create app, it is Live right away and opens on its Postback tab.

Why apps are not reviewed one by one
The publisher review already covers you, your property and how you plan to show the wall, and the publisher terms say every property you add must meet the same requirements at all times. Reviewing each app again would only delay a publisher who has already been checked. Instead, our team watches what the traffic does: fraud checks run on every user and click, users on VPNs, proxies, Tor or data center networks are blocked from the wall, and each approved publisher sees a Traffic quality report rated Good, Needs attention or Poor. How Moonetix checks traffic explains the checks.
App statuses and pauses
| App status | What it means |
|---|---|
| Live | Running. The offerwall link, iframe, design options and integrations are ready. |
| Paused | Paused by our team. Users see no offers in that app and its offerwall link does not work until our team resumes it. |
When our team pauses an app, the publisher usually gets a dashboard notification and an email that say why: either traffic quality (for example many users blocked for VPNs, proxies or several accounts per person) or a reason written by our team. Rewards from a paused app that are still pending, or that arrive while it is paused, are held for review, and the publisher’s other apps keep working. When the app runs again, the notification reads “App live again”.
Offer access can also change per publisher. Under the publisher terms, our team decides which offers are available to each publisher and app, taking traffic quality into account, so an offer may show as Needs approval (request access on the Offers page) or Revoked. How to choose which offers your users see explains every status. Accounts that commit fraud or break the rules can be banned.
How to apply again or appeal
If your publisher application was not approved, the Apply as publisher page shows the reason and the form again. Fix what it names and send updated details, and say what you changed in About your website or app, so the reviewer can check exactly that. Applying again only helps once the reason no longer applies: we may decline repeated applications for the same property without a new review if nothing has changed.
If you believe any decision was wrong, open Chat with us in the dashboard or write to support@moonetix.com, as the Terms say. Under the Terms, decisions that close a business account or withhold a publisher settlement are reviewed by a person. Is Moonetix legit? covers the wider safeguards.
Start with the review in mind

Frequently asked questions
Does every offer go through review?
Yes. Our team reviews every offer before it goes live, as part of setting up the integration with the advertiser.
Can advertisers create campaigns themselves?
No. There are no self-serve advertiser accounts or campaigns. Advertising runs only through custom integrations agreed with our team.
What makes an offer fail review?
A product on the prohibited list, a gambling offer without the required licenses, an offer that asks users for credentials or money, an undisclosed referral link, unclear conversion rules, or a link that downloads a file instead of opening a page.
Is every new app reviewed?
No. The publisher application is reviewed once, by hand. After approval, every app the publisher adds is live right away, and our team can pause any app that breaks the rules later.
How long does a publisher application review take?
Most applications are decided within one or two business days, and you get an email and a dashboard notification with the decision.
What happens to rewards when an app is paused?
Rewards that are still pending, or that arrive while the app is paused, are held for review rather than credited automatically. The publisher’s other apps keep working.
