Key takeaways

  • Advertising on Moonetix runs through custom integrations: we agree the offer, the payout per conversion, the target countries, and the tracking with you directly.
  • You pay only for the conversions your server-to-server postback confirms, never for impressions or clicks.
  • Our team reviews every offer before it goes live, and the offerwall blocks VPN, proxy, Tor, and datacenter traffic.

How does advertising on Moonetix work?

Advertising on Moonetix runs through custom integrations. We work with each advertiser directly: together we agree on the offer, the payout per conversion, the target countries, and how conversions are tracked, then connect your tracking with a server-to-server postback. Our team reviews every offer before it goes live, and you pay only for the conversions your postback confirms, never for impressions or clicks.

Once it is live, your offer appears on the Moonetix offerwall, which publishers add to their websites, apps, games, and communities. Real people on those properties choose your offer, complete it, and earn a reward from the publisher, and your server tells us which of them converted.

Who is involved

Three groups make the model work, and it helps to keep them apart from the start.

  • Advertisers have an action they want people to complete, such as installing an app, signing up for a service, starting a trial, or making a first purchase. They set up the integration with our team and pay for confirmed conversions.
  • Publishers are websites, apps, games, and communities that show the Moonetix offerwall to their own users and reward them in their own currency.
  • End users are the people who open the offerwall on a publisher property, choose an offer, complete it, and receive a reward from that publisher.

As an advertiser, you never pay end users or deal with publishers one by one. You agree a payout per conversion with us, and the rest of the chain is handled between Moonetix and the publishers.

How an integration is set up, step by step

  1. Contact us. Email us at business@moonetix.com. Tell us what you want to promote, where it is available, and what a conversion means for your business.
  2. Agree the offer. Together we define what a user has to do for a conversion to count, for example install your app and reach a first goal, sign up and confirm an email address, start a free trial, or make a first purchase.
  3. Agree the payout per conversion. You know the price of one confirmed conversion before the first user arrives.
  4. Agree the countries and the tracking. We settle which countries the offer targets and how conversions are tracked on your side, so every conversion can be traced back to the user who started the offer.
  5. Connect a server-to-server postback. When a user converts, your server sends a postback to ours with the click ID that came with that user. The postback is what confirms a conversion. Server-to-server tracking explains how it works without cookies.
  6. Staff review. Our team reviews the offer before it goes live: that the product is legitimate and allowed, that the link opens a working page, and that the tracking is connected. What Moonetix does not advertise lists the products and offer types we do not run.
  7. Go live. The offer appears on the offerwall for users in the agreed countries, and every conversion your postback confirms starts to count.

Offers fit this model best when your server can confirm the result: app installs, sign-ups, trials, and purchases.

What do you pay for?

You pay only for the conversions your postback confirms, at the payout per conversion we agreed. Impressions and clicks are never charged: a user who sees your offer, or opens it and leaves without converting, costs you nothing.

Because your own server sends the postback, a conversion counts only when your records say it happened. That is the core of pay-per-result advertising: your spend follows real outcomes rather than exposure. CPM vs CPC vs CPA compares this with paying for impressions or clicks.

How traffic quality is protected

  • Every offer is reviewed by staff before it goes live.
  • Users are real people on publisher properties. Every publisher account is reviewed by our team before it can show the offerwall.
  • Automatic fraud checks run on the traffic.
  • The offerwall blocks VPN, proxy, Tor, and datacenter traffic, so users cannot hide where they really are.
  • Conversions come from your own postback, so nothing is counted that your server did not confirm.

Frequently asked questions

Do I pay for impressions or clicks?

No. You pay only for the conversions your postback confirms, at the payout per conversion we agreed. A user who sees or opens your offer without converting costs nothing.

How do I start advertising on Moonetix?

Email us at business@moonetix.com. We agree the offer, the payout per conversion, the target countries, and the tracking with you, connect your postback, and our team reviews the offer before it goes live.

What is a server-to-server postback?

A message your server sends to ours when a user completes the conversion, carrying the click ID that came with that user. Because it travels between servers rather than through the user’s browser, it does not depend on cookies. What is a postback URL? covers the details.

Can I target specific countries?

Yes. The target countries are part of what we agree for each offer, and the offer is shown only to users in those countries.

How do you keep fraud out?

Staff review every offer and every publisher account, automatic fraud checks run on the traffic, and the offerwall blocks VPN, proxy, Tor, and datacenter traffic. On top of that, a conversion counts only when your own postback confirms it.
