Key takeaways

  • Most rewarded video demand reaches your app through one mediation platform, where Google, AppLovin, Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize, Mintegral, Pangle and Meta Audience Network bid against each other.
  • Meta Audience Network is bidding only and Unity Ads lost waterfall support in AdMob on January 31, 2026, so set up bidding first for both.
  • A rewarded offerwall is a separate placement that pays per completed offer rather than per view, and it adds revenue from the users who want bigger rewards.

What are the best rewarded ad networks in 2026?

For rewarded video, the networks most apps run are Google AdMob, AppLovin, Unity Ads, Liftoff Monetize (formerly Vungle), Mintegral, Pangle and Meta Audience Network. You rarely pick just one: you add them as bidders inside one mediation platform and let them compete for every rewarded impression. For a rewarded offerwall, which pays per completed offer rather than per view, you add a separate placement from an offerwall provider such as Moonetix. The best mix depends on your users’ countries, your platform, and whether your app has a currency users want more of.

New to the format? What are rewarded ads? covers the basics. Facts about each network below were checked on November 4, 2026, on official pages.

Rewarded video vs rewarded offerwall

Both formats are opt-in: the user chooses to engage and gets something in return. They pay for different things.

Rewarded video reaches more of your users. The offerwall earns more from the smaller group who want bigger rewards. Offerwall vs rewarded video goes through the revenue math, and most games end up running both.

The rewarded video networks, one by one

Google’s list of AdMob mediation networks shows rewarded support, with bidding, for every network below. AppLovin’s SDK bidder network guides document the same names as bidders inside MAX. That overlap is the main thing to understand: these are demand sources, and the mediation platform is where they meet.

Google AdMob

AdMob is both a network and a mediation platform. Its rewarded format covers rewarded ads, which the user opts into first, and rewarded interstitials, which appear at a break with an intro screen that lets the user decline. Google demand can also bid inside MAX. AdMob supports server-side verification, where Google calls your server with a signed request when a user earns a reward, which protects you against faked client-side reward events.

AppLovin

AppLovin’s demand runs inside its own MAX mediation and bids for rewarded, interstitial and banner inventory inside AdMob, according to Google’s network list. If you already use MAX, AppLovin demand is there by default. AppLovin MAX vs ironSource vs AdMob compares the platforms.

Unity Ads

Unity’s Unity Ads page names rewarded video, full-screen interstitials and banners, and describes bidding on top mediation platforms. Two dates matter. Google’s Unity Ads mediation guide says waterfall support for Unity Ads in AdMob ended on January 31, 2026, so it bids only there now. And Unity’s separate ironSource Ads network stopped serving direct demand on April 30, 2026, according to its sunset notice, with Unity recommending the latest Unity Ads SDK in your mediation instead.

Liftoff Monetize

Google’s Liftoff Monetize mediation guide opens with “Vungle is now Liftoff Monetize” and lists rewarded and rewarded interstitial among its formats, through both bidding and waterfall. Liftoff’s own Monetize page says its bidding is available through all major mediation platforms.

Mintegral

Mintegral’s monetization page describes in-app bidding and shows connections to mediation platforms including MAX, ironSource, AdMob and Pangle. In Google’s list it supports rewarded, interstitial, app open, banner and native.

Pangle

Pangle presents itself as an ad network connected to TikTok for Business, and lists rewarded video, interstitial, native, banner and app open (beta), with playable ads mentioned too. It bids in AdMob and MAX.

Meta Audience Network

Meta Audience Network is still active for apps, but only through bidding. Meta’s bidding overview says it is “now only using bidding to fill ads in iOS and Android apps”, and Google’s Meta adapter guide notes it became bidding only in 2021. Through AdMob it supports rewarded and rewarded interstitial. If your mediation setup still has Meta in a waterfall, it is not earning.

Others worth testing

Google’s list also shows rewarded bidding for DT Exchange, InMobi and Moloco. Whether they add revenue depends on your countries, so add them through an A/B test rather than all at once.

How to pick your rewarded networks

  1. Choose the mediation platform first. AdMob, AppLovin MAX or Unity LevelPlay. The networks follow. What is ad mediation? explains why.
  2. Start with bidders. Bidding networks compete on the price of each impression, without the manual ordering a waterfall needs. In-app bidding vs waterfall covers the trade-offs.
  3. Match your countries. Look at where your daily users are and ask each network’s account team about demand in those markets, because demand differs from one network to the next by country.
  4. Add one network at a time. Each adapter adds size and possible crashes to your app. Keep it only if an A/B test shows higher revenue per daily active user, not only a higher eCPM.
  5. Check the terms. Payment thresholds, payment timing and policies differ by network. Read them on each network’s own site before you sign.

More networks is not always more money

A network that wins rarely still costs app size, initialization time and maintenance. If its adapter crashes on some devices, it costs sessions too. Remove networks that do not win a meaningful share of your auctions.

What moves rewarded video eCPM

We do not quote eCPM figures here, because they change by month, country and app, and any single number would mislead you. These are the factors that move them:

  • User country. Advertisers pay more for users in markets where they earn more. Highest CPM countries covers the pattern.
  • Platform. iOS and Android inventory is priced separately, and the same app can see different eCPMs on each.
  • Season. Advertiser budgets change through the year, and eCPMs move with them.
  • Competition in your auction. More active bidders usually means a higher clearing price, which is why the bidding setup matters.
  • User quality. Advertisers measure what happens after the ad, such as installs and purchases, and bid on what they see. Invalid traffic hurts prices and can get your account limited; see ad fraud and bot traffic.
  • Placement. A rewarded button that users tap because they want the reward performs better than one they tap by accident.

Use the eCPM calculator to turn your own impressions and revenue into eCPM, and compare networks on revenue per daily active user.

Rewarded ad rules every network expects

Google’s AdMob rewarded ads policy is a good baseline even if you mediate other networks. It requires that standard rewarded ads are only served after the user clearly opts in, that the action and reward are disclosed before each ad, that users can skip or dismiss and that declining does not interfere with normal use, and that the promised reward is delivered. It bans direct monetary rewards such as cash, cryptocurrency and gift cards; rewards must be redeemable only inside your app and non-transferable.

Google Play’s Ads policy says its rules on unexpected full-screen interstitials do not apply to rewarded ads that users explicitly opt into, which is one reason rewarded formats are easier on users. Rewarded video vs interstitial ads compares the two in detail.

The rewarded offerwall option

An offerwall is the other big rewarded format, and it is not sold through the networks above. Users open a list of offers, complete one, and the offerwall sends your server a postback so you can credit your currency. You earn per confirmed result. It fits best where users are logged in and already earn a currency or points: games, rewards apps, sites with accounts, and Discord or Telegram communities with their own economy. It does not fit apps where users are anonymous and never come back, and it does not replace display ads on sites full of one-time readers.

Moonetix is one rewarded offerwall option. It is a pay-per-result affiliate network: you add its offerwall, users earn your own currency by completing offers, and you earn per completed offer. Offers depend on each user’s country and device, and users on VPNs, proxies, Tor or data center networks are blocked from the wall. End users must be at least 16. It runs next to your rewarded video, not instead of it. What is an offerwall? explains the model, and monetize a mobile game with an offerwall shows how games use it.

How to add Moonetix next to your rewarded video

You keep your mediation setup as it is and add the offerwall as its own button.

  1. Apply as a publisher at moonetix.com. Every application is reviewed by hand; once you are approved, every app you add is live right away.
  2. Add your app and set the currency name, icon, conversion rate, user split and wall design. The virtual currency calculator helps you price rewards so they make sense next to your video reward.
  3. Install the SDK that matches your stack: Android, iOS, Unity, Flutter or React Native (see the Moonetix docs). Your server creates a single-use session and the SDK opens the wall.
  4. Credit users only on your server from the signed postback, and take currency back when a reversal postback arrives (what is a postback URL?).
  5. Test with the Integration status tab, then put the “Earn more” button next to your rewarded video button, as shown in offerwall placement.

For the full picture, with the rules that apply and an earnings estimate, see Moonetix for mobile apps.

A rewarded offerwall that pays per result

Moonetix reports clicks, conversions and reversals by country, offer and sub ID, and has a Reporting API, so you can compare offerwall revenue with your video revenue per user. See how the wall works or get in touch.

Frequently asked questions

Which ad network pays the most for rewarded video?

No single network pays the most everywhere. Prices change by country, platform and season, so let several networks bid in one mediation platform and compare revenue per daily active user on your own traffic.

Is Meta Audience Network still available?

Yes, for iOS and Android apps, but only through bidding. Meta says it now fills app ads only through bidding, and it can be added through mediation platforms such as AdMob and MAX.

Is Vungle the same as Liftoff Monetize?

Yes. Google’s mediation guide says “Vungle is now Liftoff Monetize”, and the network supports rewarded and rewarded interstitial ads.

Can I use more than one rewarded ad network?

Yes, and most apps do. A mediation platform lets several networks compete for each rewarded impression, which usually raises fill and price compared with one network alone.

Is an offerwall a rewarded ad?

It is a rewarded format, since users opt in and earn a reward, but it pays per completed offer rather than per impression. It runs as its own placement, outside your ad mediation.

Can I give cash or gift cards as a rewarded video reward?

Not under AdMob’s rewarded ads policy, which bans direct monetary items such as cash, cryptocurrency and gift cards. Rewards must be usable only inside your app and non-transferable.
